How to use the deck
How you work with your deck is up to you. These are the suggestions from the guidebook, for people who are new to it and for people who want to go deeper.
Bond with your deck
When you start using the deck, a connection forms between you and the geometry on the cards. Keep the deck close, near where you sleep, and look at it and use it regularly. You will know when you and your deck have bonded. As a living deck it likes some attention now and then, such as time in the sun, in the woods or near water.
If the connection feels weaker, for example after many readings for others, cleanse the cards in whatever way feels right: crystals, meditation, ceremony, the full moon or prayer. Shuffle gently and loosely.
Before you draw
Clear your mind. Set the intention to grow roots into the earth and draw the earth energy up through your feet and your whole body. Then invite your multidimensional self in through the crown of your head and let it move down through your center into the earth.
Shuffle loosely while you focus lightly on your question or theme, without an agenda. Stop when it feels right. If a card jumps out while you shuffle, that is a strong message. Read it.
To choose, spread the cards in your hand or on the table and feel which one is different: warmer, electric, or lit up. You can also cut the deck into stacks and take the top card.
Single draws
Draw a card for the day, or for a situation, a feeling, a fear or a dilemma. Questions that work well, from the guidebook:
- What do I need to be aware of today?
- What should I be reflecting on about myself right now?
- What difficult situation may I be refusing to look at right now?
- Why am I feeling stuck in this?
- What can I take and learn from this difficulty?
Ask from your own perspective. “Why did they do this?” rarely gives a usable answer. “What do I need to get closure on this?” does.
Spreads and weaving
Every combination of cards forms a new pattern in your own geometry, so a spread can feel intense. Focus on each card and then on the pattern as a whole. These four are in the guidebook, drawn here as they are printed.

Contract insight
With Contracts (44) in the center. 1: in what area do I have unknown or subconscious contracts to break? 2: what do I need to restore sovereignty?

Aspect integration
With Integration (39) in the center and cards around it for the aspects to integrate. You can add more or fewer cards.

Light architect
Five cards to design your destiny, which lives in the here and now as much as in the future.

Blueprint update and weaving
Start with Universal Blueprint (62) in the center and add cards with intention, pausing after each one. You can weave in crystals, twigs or sand. Some people photograph their pattern and keep it as the background on their phone for a while.
